PianoFight’s Endless Weekend Tour

TICKETS FOR: OAKLANDSANTA BARBARALOS ANGELESSAN DIEGO

What’d you do last Memorial Day weekend?

Had to think about it, didn’t you? Shouldn’t Memorial Day be a bit more…memorable? Well friends, this year you’ll feel no such hesitation, because critically-acclaimed new work production company PianoFight is coming to YOUR hometown over Memorial Day Weekend. More than your average gang of weenie roasters, PianoFight is the hottest barbeque in town. With an all-original showcase of comedic short plays, sketches, and live music, “The Endless Weekend Tour” makes stops in Oakland, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego and is an honest-to-gawd inferno of funny – we guarantee it.

To kick off our Endless Weekend, PianoFight is hosting a blow-out show at Luka’s in Oakland on Tues, May 24th. Tickets for this show are $50 and include a three-course dinner, drinks, and the greatest Endless Weekend show you’ll ever see on a Tuesday in Oakland. Dinner starts promptly at 7:00pm with the show getting underway about 8:00pm. And if you can’t swing the $50, we’ve cooked up some more awesome in the form of a hot sweaty dance party starting at 10:30pm. Admission for Das Sockenhopfen (German avant surf rock dance partaytay lead by Das Haus Band) is only $10, comes with a free drink, and goes on til the wee hours.

Once we’ve recovered from the kick-off show in Oakland, we’re heading down the California coast for the next leg of The Endless Weekend Tour.

PianoFight rolls into the Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara on Thursday, May 26th; camps out for two nights at Theater Asylum in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday, May 27th-28th; and wraps up with a final performance at the Ion Theater in San Diego on Sunday, May 29th. Tickets for this leg of the tour are $15 in advance online and $20 at the door (see top of post for links).

Now, as marketing writers, we know what you’re thinking: comedy on Memorial Day Weekend? But I want to nurse my day-drunk hangover with leftover fried chicken and a Keeping Up with the Kardashians marathon! Well bring the fried chicken, and TIVO those troubled Armenians, because “The Endless Weekend Tour” will revive your weekend with a stimulating smattering of water cooler fodder. Heard about the recent human-dolphin linguistic breakthrough? What about the 17th-century cure for a busted hymen? Wonder what an existential game of beer pong feels (and doesn’t feel) like? Don’t worry what HR has to say about this; it’s the ENDLESS WEEKEND!

“The Endless Weekend Tour” will team up PianoFight’s SF and LA branches during their first multi-city tour and features all new and original material from Mission Control (writers of “The S.H.I.T. Show”), Monday Night ForePlays and audience favorites from the nation’s largest audience-judged playwriting competition, ShortLived.

Come celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with PianoFight. Get your tickets now – $15 online pre-sale and $20 at the door.
