While largely a theater company, PianoFight does produce short films (an incomplete list is below). Currently, PianoFight is the Executinve Producer of “Low Shoulders,” an Elijah Wolfson film written by Evan Winchester. Initially conceived as a theater piece in 2010 for ShortLived 3.0, in which it made the Finals, “Low Shoulders” is now in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign to raise the required funds to complete production.

iN PRODUCTiON: The Making of PianoFight

PianoFight’s original mockumentary web series has chronicled the making of numerous PianoFight productions and featured three different directors behind the lens (to check out all iN PRODUCTiON episodes to date, click here). The most recent season, “iN PRODUCTiON: The Making of FORKING!” chronicled the back stage antics of PF as it set about producing the world premiere of a fully scripted choose your own adventure play and it’s sold out runs in SF and LA.

Jenn Dorn, who directed the first season of iN PRODUCTiON, helmed this fiesty super hero video which went from pre-production to the finished product in under a month.

The Package – “Durability”

Long time buddy Daniel Burke came up to SF to chronicle PianoFight’s first baby steps into the music industry as producers of The Package and their song “Durability.” The Package formed out of the musical element of The SoCha Project and morphed into one kick ass group. The song was recorded at Hyper Raje Productions, and was actually featured on Hyper Raje’s 2009 sampler CD.

The S.H.I.T. Show – Live Videos

PianoFight’s sketch comedy act, The S.H.I.T. Show produced six full length shows in under a year, kit the festival circuit with the SF SketchFest, LA Comedy Festival and the Temporary Improv Festival, and managed to record some video of those shows (for all S.H.I.T. Show live videos click here).
