Mission Control

Mission Control, PianoFight’s flagship sketch comedy group, has been through a lot in the past three years, but they’re ready to talk about it. The six UC Berkeley grads and one USF grad came to PianoFight with The S.H.I.T. Show in 2008 and since then have produced 9 full-length sketch shows, with over 100 performances and well over 100 original sketches. In that time they’ve been featured at the LA Comedy Festival (3X), SF Sketchfest (3X), SF Theater Fest and even hosted a night at the SF Improv Festival. Dubbed “SF sketch legends” (LAist.com) delivering “a highly entertaining exercise in foul-mouthed sketch comedy with a surprising jolt of braininess” (Flavorpill.com), Mission Control came full-circle in 2010, winning ShortLived 3 with their hit PianoFight: 4D. That’s right, a full-length is on the way and Mission Control has been cleared for blast off. Keep your eyes on the sky.

Das Haus Band

Das Haus Band is PianoFight’s own post-experimental neo-minimalist avant-surf rock band. They have been on a search for the pure sound since their first performance as the house band for PianoFight’s ShortLived 3.0 in 2010. Since then, their 50′s/60′s/future themed dance event, known as Das Söckenhöphen, has occured all over the bay area at venues including The Eureka Theater, The Rockit Room, The Uptown, The Tempest, and Lukas. They feel nothing. Schnell!
