PianoFight’s S.H.I.T. Show Gets Cocky, Goes Deluxe

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – September 2, 2009 –PianoFight’s riotous sketch comedy act The Stop Hating Imagination Time (S.H.I.T.) Show put together five full-length sold-out shows, made killer appearances in three comedy festivals, cut a couple short films and toured California, all before its first birthday. So in honor of a knock-out first year, PianoFight is pulling out all the stops and packing every scrap of experience into one beast of a production, S.H.I.T. Show Deluxe, premiering in Studio 250 at Off-Market, Friday and Saturday nights, October 2 – 24 at 8:00pm – tickets are $20 online (www.pianofight.com) or at the door, and as always, brown bags are certainly encouraged.

PianoFight’s S.H.I.T. Show Deluxe will feature videos, live music, powerpoints, slide shows, as well as a few throwback favorites from the past year, seamlessly woven into one loosely connected show filled with biting satire, harsh vulgarity and serious laughs. The weekend of October 9-10 will include some extreme audience interaction in the form of Throw Rotten Veggies at the Actors Weekend, part of PianoFight’s quest to bring theater back to its roots.

S.H.I.T. Show Deluxe stars PianoFight veterans Duncan Wold, Evan Winchester, Jed Goldstein, Devin McNulty, Ray Hobbs, Jaque Vavroch, Rand Courtney, Christy Crowley, Jeremy Mascia, Eric Reid, Derricka Smith, Dan Williams, Rob Ready, Gabi Patacsil, Alex Boyd and Kate Jones, with live music written and performed by Arlen Ginsburg.
